22 minutes to reach the start of the track using
the Adam Gondola and ski lift. about 22 minutes,
you will be reached the start of the trail. Walk
for approximately 90 minutes from the start and
you will reach an excellent spot to photograph
the Hakuba mountain range. |
| Approximately
13 minutes to reach the start of this track using
the Toomi-Gondola and ski lift. This track is a
40 minute walk which you can enjoy at your own
pace. |
| Hakuba Daisekkei (Grand
Snowy Gorge) |

Hakuba Daisekkei is one of the three
largest snowy gorges in Japan. 3.5km long and up
to 100 metres wide, covered with snow all year
round, . There are more than100 species of alpine
plants. You can take a bus from Hakuba JR station
to Sarukura, from there it will take
approximately two hours to walk to the mouth of
gorge. You may need special equipment to walk the
slope of Mt.Hakuba. |

Yari-onsen
(hot spring) |
| You
can enjoy the grand spectacle of the Alps from
the summit after walking through the big snow
valley. There is also "Yari-onsen (hot
spring)" located 2100 meters above sea
level. This experience is the highlight of the
mountains in summer time. |
